Olybet Bar & Grill – Sports Bar and Family Restaurant in Tallinn
Olybet Bar & Grill is located right by Freedom Square in Tallinn, at Harju Street 6.
I’ll admit I had a bit of a bias — I thought it was just an evening sports bar for watching football and packed with guys holding beer glasses 😂.
But I had to change my mind! When I walked in at lunchtime, the relaxed atmosphere was filled with families with kids and several groups of women 👌.
Olybet is a very popular lunch spot in Tallinn, offering daily specials at a great price every weekday.
If you want to be sure you’ll get a lunch deal, arrive before 12 or exactly at noon – they go like hotcakes 🤩.
During FoodLover Restaurants Week from February 16–25, Olybet Bar & Grill invites you to enjoy a delicious 3-course menu for just €27.50:
Starter:
Crispy Argentinian king prawns – Romesco sauce
Main course (choose one):
Grilled salmon – fish roe / celeriac purée with porcini / charred onion / Beurre blanc sauce
“New York steak” – grilled organic beef steak / crispy mustard potatoes / creamy porcini pepper sauce
Dessert:
Lemon cream tartlet with raspberries and homemade limoncello ice cream
The starter prawns are perfectly crispy and served with a bold, smoky paprika-style Romesco sauce – absolutely delicious! 👌
For the main course, I chose the New York steak – and wow, that first bite was unbelievably good – surprisingly delicious! 😋
The pepper sauce paired perfectly with the juicy beef, and the crispy mustard potatoes on the side added a really exciting twist. A truly satisfying and flavorful combo!
For dessert, the lemon cream tartlet arrived – delightfully tangy and not overly sweet, just the way I like it ☺️.
The raspberries tasted like they came straight from grandma’s summer garden – freshly picked and naturally sweet 😇.
