A New Hidden Gem in Lasnamäe: Restoran Sõlm
Located at Lagedi tee 1, right on the edge of Lasnamäe in the Väo Center by Peterburi Road, Restoran Sõlm is a new culinary spot you won’t want to miss. At first, you might be confused by the large Olerex sign visible from afar – don’t worry, you’re on the right track! Although the restaurant shares the building, it has nothing to do with the gas station😉.
Sõlm has its own private entrance on the right side of the building. Thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows, it’s a bright and cozy place to enjoy a meal – inviting both in winter and summer.
Chef Heimar Kuuskler has crafted every dish down to the finest detail — each plate is a work of art that tastes even better than it looks! 🤩

2-course menu – €19
Baltic herring – breaded herring / tartar sauce / lemon
Duck leg – duck confit / oven-roasted vegetables / cherry-red wine sauce
3-course menu – €31
Shrimp & Avocado – shrimp / romaine lettuce / avocado / red onion / cherry tomato / lime / basil mayo
Fried pike-perch fillet – butter-fried fillet / broccolini / mashed potatoes / white wine cream sauce
Crème brûlée – raspberry meringue / fresh berries
I chose the Shrimp & Avocado as a starter. The shrimp were deliciously crisp yet tender, and the avocado salad had a smooth, creamy texture with just a hint of chili. Beautiful on the plate, and even better on the palate! 😋
For the main course, I chose the duck leg. The meat literally falls off the bone — so tender and flavorful! 😋 If after the starter I already knew I’d want to come back for more, then this duck just confirmed it — I’ll definitely be returning for another bite of this delight 🤩.
For dessert, the 3-course menu ends with a classic Crème Brûlée — so silky smooth and topped with a perfectly crisp layer of caramelized sugar. Simply exquisite as a final touch! And to round it all off, my second favorite – a creamy caffe latte with oat milk – the perfect finish to a memorable meal! ☕✨
