Aroma Bistro in Tallinn – a Sunny Restaurant with a Flavor-Rich Menu
Aroma Bistro is located in Tallinn’s Arter Quarter at Veski 1 – one of the newest and most exciting areas in the city, where you can enjoy modern city views and lively street life alongside your meal. It’s an ideal spot both for a weekday lunch and a relaxed evening out.
Let’s start with the first impression ☀️
Aroma Bistro is so beautiful, spacious, full of greenery and sunlight that the moment you step inside, you instantly feel happier. It’s the kind of place where you want to stay a little longer, sip some wine, look around and simply enjoy the moment.
And a big plus – the pizzas are prepared over a live fire 🔥🍕, which gives the whole place a wonderful Mediterranean vibe.
The atmosphere is relaxed and carefree – no pressure at all, just the feeling that you are exactly where you should be.
👉 Reservations are open, and you should definitely book a table in advance.

During the FoodLover Restaurants Week, from February 11–22, you can enjoy a 3-course menu for only €35:
- Aroma in Italy – stracciatella, orange, kumquat, calamansi vinaigrette, fennel, endive, radicchio, citrus agro dolce, dukkah
Not So HiddenFjord – alder-grilled Hiddenfjord salmon, kimchi, pickled kohlrabi, grapefruit, verjus sauce, kohlrabi cress
Mousse in the Sea… Buckthorn – lemongrass white chocolate mousse, sea buckthorn gel, sea buckthorn berries, yuzu foam, macadamia praline

Starter – simple? Not really 😄🥗
At first glance, the starter might seem quite simple and ordinary. But then you take the first bite and realize that there’s actually a real celebration of flavours happening on the plate.
Sour, sweet and salty – everything is present and perfectly balanced.
The dish is very juicy and fresh, with a truly summery feel. It’s the kind of plate that makes you think it would be perfect to enjoy on a sunny day, with a glass of wine on the side 😌
Homemade focaccia 🤍🥖
I have to highlight this separately. The homemade focaccia with olive oil and sea salt flakes is fantastic.
So tasty, airy and soft – exactly the kind that makes you hold yourself back from eating it all before the main course arrives 😄

Salmon – absolutely breathtaking 🐟
Main course: Not so HiddenFjord – alder-grilled Hiddenfjord salmon, kimchi, pickled kohlrabi, grapefruit, verjus sauce, kohlrabi cress.
Mmm… the Hiddenfjord salmon fillet grilled over alder wood has such a beautifully smoky flavour. In addition to the elegant presentation, this dish is simply divine in taste.
Once again, a very flavour-rich course – so delicate and delicious that it can leave you momentarily speechless.
And the salmon skin… crispy like a chip 😍
👉 A little fact as well: Hiddenfjord salmon comes from the Faroe Islands, where the fish are raised in natural conditions, grow slowly, are never treated with antibiotics, and great emphasis is placed on quality. You can really taste it – the flavour is clean and the texture is firmer.

Sweet finale – a new favourite 🍫🍋
Dessert: Mousse in the Sea… Buckthorn – lemongrass white chocolate mousse, sea buckthorn gel, sea buckthorn berries, yuzu foam, macadamia praline.
The mousse… wow, so airy and fluffy, a true play of flavours. Chocolatey, yet pleasantly tangy, and beautifully balanced.
Honestly, this dessert became one of my favourites 😍
It’s the kind of dessert that isn’t heavy or overly sweet, but instead leaves you with a light and very satisfying feeling.

What is the idea behind Aroma Bistro? 🌿
Aroma’s goal is to create a place where everyone feels welcome – from early morning coffee and breakfast all the way to late evening dinners.
At the heart of the menu are freshness and balance. Authentic ingredients and thoughtfully crafted combinations turn every dish into an experience.
Whether it’s warm artisan bread, pizza cooked over a live fire, or handmade pasta, everything is created with one goal in mind – the guest always comes first.
Aroma Bistro brings together influences from Italian, Spanish, Greek, French and Turkish cuisine, offering a rich variety of Mediterranean flavours on the plate 🌊🍋
Head chef Silver Saa (Salt, Fabrik, Ore, Lahepere Villa) weaves his experience and creative style into the menu, which can clearly be felt in every dish.
Summary 📝
For me, Aroma Bistro is a place where the food is flavourful and thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is light and relaxed, and every course truly feels like an experience.
It’s the kind of restaurant you want to return to – whether for lunch, dinner, or simply a good coffee and focaccia 🤍🍽️
