Puente Tallinn in Noblessner – Sea Views, Picanha and Mediterranean Flavours

I visited Puente Tallinn, located at Vesilennuki tn 24 in the Noblessner harbour district, and I have to say – this place is an experience even before the first dish arrives at the table.

The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and full of light. The space is open and airy, with large windows offering beautiful sea views and a sight of yachts passing by. Soft music plays in the background, creating the kind of ambiance where you want to stay a little longer, order another drink, and simply enjoy the moment. In summer, this place must be even more wonderful 🤩.

“Puente” means “bridge” in Spanish – a bridge between flavours, cultures and people. And you can truly feel that idea here. Mediterranean inspiration, a modern approach and maritime elegance come together to create a very harmonious experience.

Puente also hosts live music evenings and conversation nights. For example, on March 7 there will be live music, and on March 9 a conversation evening. It’s definitely worth following their Facebook page to stay updated with the latest events.

👉 Reservations are open, and it is highly recommended to book a table in advance.

MUSSELS – cream and white wine sauce, garlic, citrus, chili and fresh herbs

We started with the
mussels, which were pleasantly tender, perfectly cooked and very juicy. The cream and white wine sauce, combined with garlic, citrus and a subtle hint of chili, added depth to the dish without making it heavy. The portion size was just right – the kind that leaves you satisfied, without thinking that there should have been more.

PICANHA – grilled beef picanha steak, aromatic garlic oil, vegetables, rustic hand-cut fries and roasted peppers

For the main course, we chose the
picanha, and here I can honestly say – it was simply amazing 🤩😋. The meat was tender and juicy, cooked exactly as it should be. The aromatic garlic oil added depth of flavour, while the vegetables and rustic hand-cut fries complemented the dish perfectly.

It’s definitely a meal that will leave you feeling full and satisfied – the kind of dish that makes you feel like you’ve truly had a proper, hearty meal 👌.

BASQUE BURNT CHEESECAKE – cream cheese, cardamom–citrus confit and freeze-dried raspberry

One of the dessert options is the
Basque burnt cheesecake. It is soft, creamy and pleasantly sweet. The cardamom–citrus confit adds an interesting flavour nuance that makes the dessert stand out. I also liked that it wasn’t too heavy – rather delicate and balanced. For those who enjoy a moderately sweet cake, this dessert should satisfy all your senses ☺️.

PEACH IN PASTRY WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM – warm baked peach in syrupy pastry served with vanilla ice cream

The second dessert option is
peach in pastry with vanilla ice cream. A warm, lightly syrupy peach paired with cold vanilla ice cream – a classic combination that always works. Simple, but a very pleasant way to finish the meal. 🍑🍦

Sunday Brunch

The service was smooth and friendly. Nothing overly formal, yet attentive and professional at the same time. Everything flowed naturally.

Puente is not just a restaurant. To me, it feels like the kind of place you can visit for a romantic dinner, but also for a long lunch with friends. The sea view adds its own special charm, and in summer it must be even more amazing 🤩.

And if that’s not enough – every Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00 Puente hosts a brunch. The flavours are wonderful and the selection is generous.

I had the chance to try everything that was on the menu, and the variety is pleasantly diverse.

The sweet oatmeal with berries and jam was nicely creamy and comforting – a warm and homey start to the meal. The savory oatmeal with butter and crispy bacon was a completely different experience – rich, slightly salty and wonderfully satisfying.

The scrambled eggs on ciabatta with bacon and roasted onions were silky and juicy, exactly as good scrambled eggs should be. The omelette variations were light and fluffy – I especially liked the version with salmon and wakame topped with sesame seeds, which gave the dish a subtle Japanese touch.

For me, poached eggs are always a true treat. One version came with lightly cured salmon, guacamole and sprouts – beautifully balanced and fresh. The other with jamón, lemon vinaigrette, guacamole and sprouts – salty, citrusy and wonderfully juicy. The kind of brunch dish that makes your eyes sparkle 🤩.

The smoothie bowl with granola, fruit and fresh berries was refreshing and gently sweet – a perfect balance alongside the savory dishes. And a glass of fresh orange juice on the side… exactly what a Sunday morning needs.

Puente’s brunch is not just “something for breakfast”. It feels like a whole experience – sea views, a relaxed pace, good music and a table full of flavours. If you love long Sundays without rushing anywhere, this is the place to be. 🌊✨
