Restaurant Farm in Tallinn – Fresh Bread, Live Music and a Feast of Flavours
If you haven’t visited Farm yet, add it to your autumn bucket list! 🍂 It’s located right in Tallinn’s Old Town, on the corner of Müürivahe and Viru Street. As soon as you step inside, it feels like time slows down – calm and cozy, yet still a bit festive. And that amazing smell of rye bread in the air 😋
Let’s start from the beginning. When you sit down at Farm, you’re immediately served fresh bread. And not just any bread. They bake fresh rye bread every morning at Rukis café. When you’re leaving, make sure to stop by – you might want to grab a delicious slice of cake or pastry to go 😉
The secret of the bread? Blackcurrant, which gives it a deeper flavor. The result is interesting – slightly salty and slightly sweet at the same time, topped with flaky salt that adds a light crunch to every bite. The blackcurrant adds softness and balance.
And something as simple as bread already makes you feel: okay, this is going to be a great evening 🤩 🥖✨

Open kitchen – food magic behind glass
One of the coolest things at Farm is the open kitchen behind glass. This means you can actually watch your food being prepared. It creates a sense of openness and adds an honest feeling to the whole space – nothing is hidden, everything happens right in front of you 👨🍳
🎶 Live music – only 4 evenings!
Another reason to visit Farm during FoodLover Restaurant Week. During the campaign, on two Fridays and Saturdays (a total of 4 evenings), there is live music 🎤
Filippo Pozza and Tommaso Primavera create an atmosphere that feels like you’re in a small European capital city club – romantic, cozy, and joyful at the same time.
The 3-course dinner menu at an exceptional price is available only from October 2–12 during FoodLover Restaurant Week, and you should reserve your table HERE at least 1 day in advance.
🍴 Dinner menu – 40 €
Beef – roasted beef / wild garlic / sorrel / black truffle / wild mushrooms / mustard seeds
Duck – grilled duck breast / spiced pumpkin with ginger / roasted parsnip purée / beetroot / sea buckthorn honey sauce
Chocolate – chocolate mousse / rye bread ice cream with Vana Tallinn liqueur / cranberry sauce

Roast beef – tenderness and harmony of flavors
When the roasted beef arrived, the first bite already convinced me. The meat was so tender and natural in flavor that it didn’t really need any sauce – but the sides added even more depth.
Mustard seeds gave a nice salty note, the salad added acidity, and the mushrooms 🤩 – perfectly crispy and a beautiful addition.
Everything worked together: salty, tangy, and that little crunch from the mustard seeds 😋

Main course – duck: crispy skin, tender meat
The meat was tender, easy to cut, and cooked perfectly. The skin – crispy, slightly sweet and salty.
On the side, there was spiced pumpkin with ginger and parsnip purée – so flavorful that every bite brought something new.
And one small but thoughtful detail – the main course was served on a hot plate. A small touch, but it shows attention to detail.

Chocolate mousse – with rye bread and Vana Tallinn
For dessert, we had chocolate mousse. A true dream for chocolate lovers – silky texture, not too sweet, just right.
The rye bread ice cream and Vana Tallinn liqueur added an interesting twist. Cranberry jam brought a slight acidity that tied everything together.
A perfect ending to the evening 😍

🎼 Music + food = perfect atmosphere
The background music is calm and romantic – perfectly suited to the space.
And when you add those four evenings (Fridays and Saturdays) with live music, just imagine: amazing food, a glass of good wine, and live performance. A truly perfect evening in Tallinn’s Old Town 🤩😋

At Farm, fresh bread is baked every morning, with blackcurrant as its secret ingredient.
The open kitchen adds a sense of space and honesty, and the dishes strike a perfect balance between comfort and gourmet – roast beef, duck, and chocolate mousse.
⭐ And as a bonus, live music on four evenings makes the experience even more special.
If you’re looking for something memorable this autumn, head to Farm from October 2–12. But don’t forget – book your table in advance, or you might miss out on this great offer.
