FoodLover TOP 2020 Restaurants vol2
So here it is – my next selection of TOP restaurants! This time, the list includes 14 places 🥳.
I’m sharing my personal “best of” list based on the dishes I love and the reasons why I keep going back to these places.
The restaurants are listed in random order – because honestly, I can’t rank my favorite foods. They’re all uniquely good in their own way.
8. Peppersack (Tallinn Old Town, Viru 2)
So far, I’ve had the best duck fillet and a lovely goat cheese salad at Peppersack. In summer, they open a charming terrace right on the Old Town street, and the friendly service combined with the cozy atmosphere makes it a top spot to visit.

9. Kaval Rebane (Balti Jaama Market, Tallinn)
They make an especially tasty Caesar salad with crispy chicken. The price is very reasonable, and it’s a great option for takeaway as well!

10. Poke Bowl Tallinn
Poke Bowl has already expanded to three locations in Tallinn, but my favorite one is inside Mustamäe Keskus. If you enjoy bowl food, they serve the best tuna poke bowl in town!
Unlike many places that only offer rice as a base, here you can choose from quinoa (my favorite), zucchini noodles, or corn chips instead. Be sure to also try their salmon and shrimp bowls – both are fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite.

11. Tokumaru (Tallinn, Solaris Centre – my favorite location)
Tokumaru is a popular Japanese restaurant with several locations in Tallinn and also in Tartu. My personal favorite is their Solaris Centre spot in Tallinn.
They offer a variety of poke-style bowls and ramens, all full of flavor and beautifully presented. My top pick is the salmon-avocado don – it’s basically a bowl dish, just under a different name. Super nutritious, filling, and delicious!

12. Leib (Uus 31, Tallinn)
If you’re looking for the friendliest service and truly unique flavors, Leib is a place that never disappoints.
Not only is every dish beautifully presented, but the taste experience is guaranteed. From warm hospitality to refined local ingredients – this restaurant offers something genuinely special 🙂

13. MEAT Resto & Butchery (Haabersti, Rannamõisa tee 38d)
A truly cozy meat lover’s restaurant 😋. The dishes are not only delicious and well-thought-out, but also beautifully plated.
In addition to the lovely summer terrace and charming atmosphere, you’ll always find friendly service here. In winter, the fireplace adds warmth, while the floor-to-ceiling windows bring nature right to your table – even indoors.

14. Kalevi Jahtklubi Resto (Pirita tee 17, Tallinn)
Located right on the banks of the Pirita River, this cozy restaurant offers a warm fireplace in winter and delicious food all year round.
Their braised beef cheek is incredibly flavorful 😋, and the hot apple cake is always a safe (and tasty) bet. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the river and sailboats, adding to the charm whether you’re visiting in summer or winter.

And that wraps up my TOP list of restaurants for 2020!
These 14 spots are places I can wholeheartedly recommend – even in my sleep 😄 – and I promise you won’t be disappointed 🥰.
