SÜSI Grill & Chill at T1 – Huge Portions, Fair Prices and Josper-Grilled Dishes
SÜSI Grill & Chill is located on the first floor of T1 Mall, in the central atrium opposite Selver. The restaurant is a great choice for anyone who appreciates generous portions, grilled meat, and reasonable prices.
From 15–23 February, SÜSI Grill & Chill is offering two special menus as part of FoodLover Restaurants Week. We went to see and taste what was on offer.
FoodLover Restaurants Week Special Menus
2-course menu – €12
- Grilled mini chicken skewer marinated with orange, chilli, and raspberry
- SÜSI Special Burger with beef patty, BBQ pulled pork, double cheese, and fries
3-course menu – €22
- Grilled tiger prawn skewer
- Grilled pork tenderloin shashlik skewer with a large charcoal-grilled baked potato and herbed sour cream
- Chocolate cheesecake
Starters
The grilled mini chicken skewer was wonderfully tender and juicy. The orange, chilli, and raspberry marinade gave the dish a sweet and spicy character, while the chilli sauce served on the side added an extra kick.
The grilled tiger prawns were cooked beautifully and paired very well with the tartar sauce.
Even the starter portions were surprisingly generous and felt closer in size to a small main course.
Main Courses
The SÜSI Special Burger is seriously substantial.
It combines two different meats: a juicy beef patty and BBQ pulled pork. With double cheese and plenty of toppings, it makes for a very filling meal and may be a challenge to finish alone.
Both meats were tender and full of flavour, and the burger worked really well as a whole. If you enjoy big, indulgent burgers, this one is definitely worth trying.
For our second main course, we tried the grilled pork tenderloin shashlik skewer.
The meat was tender and pleasantly savoury, served together with grilled vegetables. The large baked potato wrapped in foil had a comforting homemade feel, while the herbed sour cream complemented the dish nicely.
Dessert
For dessert, we had the chocolate cheesecake.
The cake was rich and intensely chocolatey, while the cherry jam added a pleasant tartness. Strawberry ice cream brought freshness and helped balance the richness.
Just like the previous courses, the dessert portion was also larger than what you would usually expect in a restaurant.
Overall, the portions were extremely generous, and our group could not quite finish everything.
SÜSI Grill & Chill at T1
SÜSI Grill & Chill focuses on dishes prepared on a Josper charcoal grill. This cooking method helps keep the meat juicy while adding a distinctive smoky flavour.
The menu is varied and the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes.
The second floor of the restaurant is spacious and cosy, with views over the T1 Mall atrium. The first floor is also well suited to families with children, as there is a playhouse with toys.
The drinks menu includes freshly pressed juices, smoothies, milkshakes, homemade lemonades, and iced teas. There is also a selection of internationally recognised wines and cocktails.
If you are looking for a restaurant in T1 Mall with generous portions, grilled meat, and good value for money, SÜSI Grill & Chill is definitely worth a visit.
